Privacy Policy

The Short Version

JuturnaReport is a desktop application. It runs on your computer. Your data stays on your computer. Juturna Labs never sees, accesses, collects, stores, transmits, or processes any of the data you create, import, or manage within the application. We have no servers that receive your data. We have no analytics that track your usage. We have no telemetry that phones home. Your vulnerability findings, client information, report content, and all other data remain entirely under your control at all times.

What JuturnaReport Does Not Collect

JuturnaReport does not collect, transmit, or share any of the following:

  • Vulnerability findings, scan results, or security assessment data
  • Client names, engagement details, or project information
  • Report content, templates, or generated documents
  • Network addresses, hostnames, or infrastructure details
  • User credentials, API keys, or authentication tokens
  • Database contents or application settings
  • File system paths, directory structures, or local file contents
  • Usage patterns, feature analytics, or behavioral data
  • Crash reports, error logs, or diagnostic telemetry

There is no mechanism in JuturnaReport to transmit this data. The application does not contain code that sends your working data to Juturna Labs or any third party. All data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your local machine, protected by a master password that only you know.

What Juturna Labs May Collect

Juturna Labs collects only the minimum information necessary to sell and license the software:

  • Purchase information: When you buy JuturnaReport, your payment is processed by LemonSqueezy (our payment provider). Juturna Labs receives your name, email address, and transaction details. We do not receive or store your full credit card number.
  • License validation: JuturnaReport periodically validates your license key. This check transmits only your license key and a machine identifier. No application data, usage data, or file contents are included in this check. The application supports offline and air-gapped environments with a 30-day grace period between validations.
  • Support correspondence: If you contact us at [email protected], we retain the content of that communication to provide support.
  • Website analytics: The juturnalab.com website may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns. This does not apply to the desktop application.

Data Storage and Encryption

All application data is stored locally on your machine in an encrypted SQLite database (SQLCipher). Juturna Labs does not have access to your master password, your backup code, or any contents of your database. If you lose your master password and backup code, Juturna Labs cannot recover your data because we never had access to it.

SMTP Email (Optional Feature)

JuturnaReport includes an optional feature to send reports via email using your own SMTP server credentials. When you use this feature, the application connects directly from your machine to your SMTP server. Juturna Labs is not involved in this transmission and does not see, relay, or store any email content, attachments, or credentials. This feature is not available in air-gapped environments.

Third-Party Services

  • LemonSqueezy: Handles payment processing and license management. Their privacy policy governs purchase data: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy

Juturna Labs does not use third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data processing services within the JuturnaReport application.

Data Ownership

You own your data. Juturna Labs makes no claim to any content you create, import, or manage within JuturnaReport. Because your data never leaves your machine, Juturna Labs has no ability to access, review, share, sell, or otherwise interact with it.

Children’s Privacy

JuturnaReport is a professional tool intended for use by security and IT professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Because we do not collect user contact information through the application, we cannot send direct notifications of policy changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
