Activation
License activation is required on first launch, after master password setup. The License Activation screen appears automatically.
- Paste your license key into the License Key field.
- Click Activate (or press Enter).
JuturnaReport contacts the LemonSqueezy licensing API to validate the key and register the current machine. An internet connection is required for initial activation.
On success, the app proceeds to the main interface. On failure, an error banner appears explaining the reason — see Troubleshooting below.
License file location: The activated license record is stored machine-wide at:
C:\ProgramData\Juturna Labs\JuturnaReport\
All Windows user accounts on the machine share this license record. You do not need to activate separately per user.
License Status
JuturnaReport checks license validity at launch and periodically during use. You can view the current license status in the app — the status check returns:
- Status — valid, expired, or invalid
- Days remaining — for annual licenses, how many days until expiry
- Reason — details if the license is not in a valid state
If a license enters an invalid or expired state while the app is running, you will be redirected to the License Activation screen.
Offline Grace Period
After successful activation, JuturnaReport can operate offline for up to 30 days without re-verifying the license online. This covers air-gapped environments and travel scenarios where the machine has no internet access.
After 30 days offline, the app will require a connection to verify the license before continuing.
Deactivating a License
To free an activation slot — for example, before decommissioning a machine — contact [email protected] with your license key and the machine you want to deactivate. You can also manage activations directly through the LemonSqueezy customer portal; a link to the portal is included in your purchase confirmation email.
See Managing Machine Activations for the full picture on the activation limit.
Troubleshooting
“Invalid key” — Double-check the license key you received by email. Keys are case-insensitive but must be entered without extra spaces.
“Activation limit reached” — Your license has used all available machine activations (up to 3). You need to deactivate an existing machine before activating a new one. Contact support or use the customer portal.
“Network error” — The activation API could not be reached. Check your internet connection. If you are behind a proxy or firewall, ensure outbound HTTPS to api.lemonsqueezy.com is allowed.
“License expired” — Your annual license has lapsed. See Renewing Your License for how to renew.
